he Oswego County Health Department offers a variety of services to all residents of Oswego County.

Several consumers of the services provided by ARC of Oswego County visited the classroom and created floral centerpieces with students enrolled in the Career and Technical Education program.

MACS was evaluated on 168 health and safety criterion and earned the highest level of distinction, the titanium award, from the Utica National School Safety Excellence Awards Program.

A SUNY Oswego expert in presidential politics, Dr. Bruce Altschuler, will give the keynote address April 18 at Quest, the college’s day to celebrate student, faculty and staff research and creativity.

Administered locally through OCO, the WIC program provides women, infants and children with supplemental food and nutrition education. The program serves pre-natal, breast-feeding, post-partum women (up to six months) and infants and children up to the age of five.

Air Force Airman Savon S. Johnson graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Oswego County Opportunities, one of the top 10 largest private employers in Oswego County, has welcomed eleven new members to the agency’s staff. The new employees have recently completed the agency’s orientation process and will begin to serve consumers in their respective programs.

To qualify for the Dean’s List, students much have an academic average between 3.5 and 4.0.

An all Fulton community Good Friday Cross Walk, April 6, will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the parking lot of Holy Trinity Parish, 309 Buffalo St. This annual event is sponsored by the Greater Fulton Area Council of Christian Churches.
