‘Proceed and Be Bold’ To Profile Programmer Turned Artist

"Proceed and Be Bold," the fifth film in SUNY Oswego's On Screen/In Person series, follows Amos Paul Kennedy Jr. as he foregoes a career in computers for the life of a poster and book artist, helping redefine ideas of politics, society and race. It will show at 7 p.m. March 27, followed by a question-and-answer session with Laura Zinger, the documentary's director.“Proceed and Be Bold” will show at 7 p.m. at Oswego Cinema, 138 W. Second St., followed by questions and answers with Zinger, who profiles self-described “humble Negro printer” Amos Paul Kennedy Jr. in this unconventional story of a man and his letterpress.
