Xavier Balcom, Toddler at Discovery Day Care is digging in the sand and putting the sand in the dump truck. Xavier is also moving the wheel burrow with waffle blocks to a location where he can build a road for his dump truck to unload the sand.
Oswego Health staff members shared important information on healthy habits with the students and parents of Leighton Elementary School in Oswego during the recent two-day parent teacher conference event.
Two members of the Oswego Lakettes Synchronized Swim team, Calinda Ceterski and Caitlyn McAfee, participated in the 2011 East Zone Silver Clinic with other swimmers from around the North East.
The team marched to historic success in April 2011 when they ranked 5th Best Drill Team during a national competition in Florida. The 30-member team won five overall meet titles and 44 trophies in 2011.
Classrooms demonstrating responsible, respectful, and safe behavior in the cafeteria, the playground and in the hallway were awarded with Golden Awards. Students were also acknowledged by bus drivers and received Golden Key awards.
Provided through Catholic Charities of Oswego County, the Step By Step Wellness Program uses a wellness recovery model that provides services to adults diagnosed with a mental illness.
