The Bookmobile recently visited Leighton Elementary School as it prepared to visit many Oswego children throughout the summer. All Leighton students were able to check out the bus and see the possible books they can take home for the summer.
The Oswego County AmeriCorps and the City of Fulton Department of Parks and Recreation are once again running the Summer Parks Program.

Oswego County Federal Credit Union will again sponsor free open-air movies in the park this summer in Oswego, Fulton and Mexico. “At all locations, we provide entertainment that starts at 7 p.m., followed by the movie starting at dark,” Bill Carhart, OCFCU CEO, said. “We also provide free pizza, face painting, and arts and crafts.”
Mexico High School recently recognized student athletic achievement during their annual Block M Awards. Seventeen sports teams at Mexico were recognized as scholar athlete teams this year, meaning that collectively they achieved a grade point average of 90 or above.
