Palermo Elementary Students Learn About Dental Hygiene

Following a visit from dental hygienists Wendy Probst and Cammie Lyndaker, students in grades pre-kindergarten through four were able to share the following steps to a great smile: brush twice a day for two minutes, use fluoride toothpaste and mouthwash, floss, don’t snack too often and visit the dentist every six months.

The Oswego Players’ second production of its 80th anniversary season, David Javerbaum’s comedy “An Act of God” features a trio of experienced actors. “An Act of God” is a satiric view of what it might be like if God came back to earth to amend the mistakes He made with the original ten commandments, accompanied by two of His Archangels Michael and Gabriel.

SUNY Oswego, WCNY To Host Documentary, Panel On Ethics

SUNY Oswego will partner with WCNY to host a preview of the PBS documentary segment “The Whistle Blower,” followed by an ethics-based faculty panel discussion on Wednesday, April 11. The screening, which starts at 6:15 p.m. in Marano Campus Center auditorium (Room 132), will consist of one of the three 30-minute segments from the PBS film “Playing by the Rules: Ethics at Work.”
