Fugitive From Ohio Arrested By Fulton Police

During the early morning hours of Sunday (Jan. 31), Fulton Police were dispatched to a westside neighborhood in regard to an intoxicated male causing a disturbance. Upon arrival Fulton Officers located a male matching the description who was identified as Newlin Negron. It was discovered that Negron was wanted by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office in Ohio.

Fulton Native Schremp Returns to Cuse for AHL All-Stars Weekend

Current AHL hockey player for the Portland Pirates and Fulton native, Rob Schremp returned to his roots for the 2016 AHL All-Star Weekend (Jan. 31-Feb. 1) at the Syracuse War Memorial. Starting with the AHL All-Stars Skills Competition yesterday (Jan. 31) Schremp performed for the All-Stars East division in the rapid fire event, the pass and score event and the breakaway relay. Geitner Recognizes Mentoring Programs in Fulton Schools for National Mentoring Month

January is National Mentoring Month and the Fulton City School District has many mentoring programs to acknowledge during this time of recognition. Two Men Arrested At Old Nestle Property

After business hours, on the night of January 20, around 7:06 p.m., two men were located inside the locked and fenced property at the old Nestle building, located at 555 S. Fourth St., Fulton, according to police. Arrested were Douglas W. Hemphill, 36, of 329 County Route 89 in Oswego and Christopher D. Wood, 30, of 1006 Ivy Ridge Road, Syracuse.
