Study Details Economic Impact of Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor

The Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor generates $307.7 million in economic impact to upstate New York’s economy, according to a newly released analysis of the economic impact of national heritage areas conducted by Tripp Umbach, a nationally recognized consulting firm. Erie Canalway supports 3,240 jobs and generates $34.9 million in tax revenue.

Growing up, Scott Baker and William Weimer shared a love of golf. Now, they share ownership of their own golf course. “My partner and I met on the golf course 25 years ago. UPDATE: Northbound traffic on State Route 48 will be detoured at Munn Street, southbound traffic will be detoured at Burden drive until further notice.
Mayor Billy Barlow is asking that people “Please avoid Route 48 until further notice;, a large portion of the road has caved in and presents a dangerous situation. Route 48 is a state road and we are coordinating with the state DOT to address this right away!”

Oswego County Drug Task Force Announces Meth Lab Arrest

On Thursday (February 25), at approximately 6 a.m., investigators with the Oswego County Drug Task Force in conjunction with the New York State Police Special Operations Response Team and Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team executed a methamphetamine related search warrant at 444 Chapman Road in the town of Parish. One person was arrested. Others arrests are pending.
