Riley Rashes ‘Not A Communicable Situation’
School and county health officials say rashes at Riley School aren’t a communicable situation. The recent outbreak isn’t related to asbestos abatement or other construction work at the school, according to a district spokesperson.
UPDATED: As of 4:15 p.m. Thursday, Mayor Randy Bateman had lifted the Winter Parking Advisory. If it is at all possible, Mayor Bateman is asking residents to still continue not to park on city streets. “It makes it easier for the Department of Works to clear our streets, especially the smaller ones, for emergency vehicles,” he explained.
They have raised the bar at Oswego High School. And, for the most part, students have risen to the occasion – academically as well as socially, the building’s principal said Tuesday night.
