In about 12 minutes Monday night Oswego Mayor Randy Bateman highlighted the accomplishments of the last 12 months – and looked forward to the challenges of the next 12. The city overcame a lot of challenges and hopes to continue making positive strides this year, he said.
Aaron Callahan is headed to Washington, DC later this month to attend the National Young Leaders Conference. Canale’s Restaurant will help him raise funds for the trip on March 22. Also, Assemblyman Will Barclay will honor Aaron next month.
The board of education weighs the pros and cons of the superintendent’s plan, which includes closing an elementary school. Some board members push for other options.
