A Neighborhood Watch involves a group of concerned citizens who work together by looking out for one another. The grassroots group has helped reduce and prevent crimes in their neighborhoods, organizers say. An informational meting is set for Oct. 14 to entice more residents to join.
Bryon Patchen had been distraught over a dispute with his ex-girlfriend, police say. He reportedly fired a 12-gauge shotgun into the side of an unoccupied, parked vehicle and fled the scene. No one was injured. He is being held at OCJ.
