Oswego Board Of Education Switches Schools’ Start-Dismissal Times

The times will be the same as the start of the last school year. They had been altered this spring due to the bridge closing. However, district officials now feel that change wasn’t needed. The board also named Bill Crist the acting superintendent of schools.

Council Votes 5-2 To Pave Sophie Drive

The city will pave Sophie Drive in the Seventh Ward and will be paid back in tax revenues when the eight proposed townhouses are built and sold, according to the deal. The city will at least be reimbursed for the binder if all the townhouses aren’t sold in a specified amount of time.

County Lifts Sales-Tax Cap On Gasoline Sales
