On March 4, State Police in Fulton arrested Patricia M. Burdick of Birch Lane, town of Scriba, for Petit Larceny, a class “A” misdemeanor. Burdick is charged with stealing retail food and beverages while working at Stewart’s Shops in Minetto.
U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand today (March 7) introduced legislation that would authorize the National Park Service to conduct a study on whether the Fort Ontario and the Safe Haven Holocaust Refugee Shelter Museum in Oswego should become a unit of the National Park system.

A Fulton man arrested in December 2015 for manufacturing methamphetamine in his home with children present has plead guilty to one felony charge and three misdemeanor charges. Tyko J. Delaney Sr. was arrested along with four others for possessing equipment and materials to manufacture methamphetamine. A police report indicated that there were six children present in the residence at the time the search warrant was executed.
At about 3:10 a.m. today (March 3), the Oswego City Police Department responded to an address on East Fourth Street in the city for a reported burglary and assault complaint. An investigation was conducted and it is alleged that the defendants, who were known to the victim, broke into the residence, assaulted the victim and forcibly stole property while acting in concert.
