Traffic Stop Results In 3 Heroin Arrests
On Monday, investigators with the Oswego City Police Department’s Anti-Crime Team stopped a white colored Honda Civic on East Fourth Street just north of East Bridge Street. It was stopped as a result of an investigation into illegal heroin possession and sales occurring within the city. The three adult occupants of the vehicle were detained as the investigation proceeded. A three-year-old child was also in the vehicle. The adults were arrested.

The worst of winter waned with the recent thaw but as streets clear of built up ice and snow they reveal a pox of potholes plaguing the city: damage wrought by winter’s icy grip. “If you fill a hole, it’ll probably be good for a day if you’re lucky,” Mayor Ron Woodward said. “Then you’ve got to fill it again. New potholes keep surfacing and they’re going to keep showing up until the frost line goes away.”
