The Common Council pulled a resolution from Monday’s agenda that would have imposed a two-hour parking limit on parts of West Mohawk Street. They are working jointly with Oswego Hospital to alleviate the problem. However, that didn’t stop two residents from speaking out against the plan.
The New York Air National Guard’s 174th Attack Wing resumes local area training flight operations today (Nov. 25) from Wheeler-Sack Army Airfield at Fort Drum. MQ-9 operations were temporarily suspended following an MQ-9 aircraft that crashed approximately 20 miles northeast of the port of Oswego into Lake Ontario.

On Friday November 22, Fulton Police charged two people with methamphetamine possession and manufacture after discovering an alleged mobile meth lab on the city’s west side, police announced today (Nov. 24).
The 174th Attack Wing has suspended the ground search for debris from the New York Air National Guard which crashed into Lake Ontario on Nov. 12 during a routine training mission. The 174th Attack Wing is asking that if members of the public find any aircraft debris that they call the wing’s Emergency Operations Center at 315-233-2257 or 2258.
