The county’s Health and Highway departments used Girl Scout cookies as a substitute for medical supplies during a drill to simulate the receiving and distribution of emergency medical supplies on Wednesday. The ‘supplies’ were unloaded, sorted and distributed to sites around the county.

At Tuesday’s school board meeting, the district approved a settlement of the tax challenge brought by Indeck-Oswego, seeking a reduction of the assessed value of the Oswego Steam Station.
