Trio Charged In Connection With Home Invasion

On 12/02/12 three men were arrested in connection to a robbery/burglary home invasion that occurred about 1 a.m. on Sunday at a town of Mexico residence. They are accused of breaking into a town of Mexico residence, wearing ski masks and gloves, with one reportedly attacking a male victim, wrestling with him on the porch, while the others entered the home from another access.

State Police Arrest Three Subjects With alleged Mobile Meth Lab

Troopers reportedly discovered an illegal gravity knife and several used hypodermic needles in the vehicle passenger areas during a traffic stop. Further investigation lead to the discovery of approximately 18 packets of heroin and components of a One Pot Methamphetamine manufacturing operation in the trunk, troopers said.

Group Sues Oswego To End Law Banning Felons From Driving Taxis

Oswego city lawmakers approved a law recently that prevents many felons from getting taxi licenses in the city. Officials said at the time that there’s been no specific problem — they were just trying to prevent one. Now, they’ve got a problem. A workers’ rights group is suing the city to try to kill the law.
