The Oswego Public Library used grant funding to purchase new video conferencing equipment for its Public Computing Center. Adding video conferencing equipment to the center for training and education will help to stimulate employment and job opportunities, according to the facility’s director.

Like other 6th Grade Teachers in The Fulton City School District, Mr. Bush also has the task of taking boys and girls at the beginning of the year and turning them into young men and women come June. In the process, Bush’s students become better suited for the coming transition into Junior High.
At about 7 p.m. on June 16, the Oswego City Police Department Criminal Investigation Division was notified by a concerned citizen of what appeared to be an illegal drug transaction taking place in plain view in Franklin Square (West Park). Two Oswego men were charged as a result of the investigation.
Three business organizations, a successful entrepreneur and a long-standing economic development advocate were also honored for significant contributions to economic development and job creation in Oswego County.
Following this week’s Common Council meeting, Connie Cosemento told the media that she has decided not to seek re-election to a new term. She cited “a bouquet of reasons” for her decision.
