Hannibal School Unions Agree to No Pay Increase Next Year
There’ll be no pay increases for workers in the Hannibal school district next school year, under tentative agreements announced this week.
Hannibal’s Board of Education approved new contracts with all but one of its unions. The contracts contain concessions on pay and benefits.

Ex-Hannibal Board President Claims Board Hid Money for Raises in Proposed Budget; Official: ‘Absolutely Not!’
The former President of Hannibal’s Board of Education claims that board members deliberately deceived taxpayers by claiming that no salary increases had been built into the proposed 2011-12 budget when money for raises had been hidden in other accounts.
District officials flatly denied the claim.

Budget, Transportation Propositions Featured On WBUC TV Program
Two brief programs providing an overview of the Oswego City School District proposed budget and the bus proposition have been produced by Oswego High School television station WBUC. The programs will be broadcast over Channel 16 on Oswego Time Warner and will also be available on the district website www.oswego.org
