It was another day without rainfall in the area. How about one more?
Looks like more sunshine on the way.
Oswego City School District voters will be going to the polls on May 17 from noon to 9 p.m. at 10 polling places spread throughout the district. This year the voters in the fifth district or fifth ward in Oswego will be casting their ballots at the Cullinan Ice Rink, located directly behind Kingsford Park Elementary School.
At its meeting Monday night, the Common Council unanimously endorsed the continuation of the additional one percent sales and compensating use tax, which is due to expire on Nov. 30. It is not a new tax, the mayor pointed out.
The tennis team drops a heart breaker in Mexico. Also, it’s nearly time for the SATs.
The seven candidates for four open seats on Fulton’s Board of Education will debate the issues Monday night.
The event begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Fulton Education Center auditorium.
There was no rain and plenty of sun for Mother’s Day. And, the rest of the week looks about the same, only a tad warmer.
