Decades ago, it was a school. For the last decade and a half, it’s been an open lot. By the end of the year, the empty field that used to house Fulton’s Phillips St. School will be the new home of four families, as the city builds homes for first-time buyers here.
Here is a glimpse of the three tall ships that will be visiting the Port City this summer.
The Oswego Festival Of Sail will take place June 25, 26 & 27. The public can tour and take a 90-minute cruise on the ships. Several other activities, for people of all ages, are being planned – at the waterfront and downtown.
More than 550 people turned out Saturday for the annual Oswego County Autism Task Force’s “Walk for Autism.” The group seeks to provide information that enhances the lives of those touched by Autism Spectrum Disorders in the community. The event featured children’s activities, entertainment, light refreshments, autism information, and an organized 1, 2, or 3-mile walk.
