Hannibal turns 150 on Saturday and will throw a party to celebrate.
The village begins its sesquicentennial celebration Saturday afternoon by unveiling a new book on the village’s history. The book is called “Pictorial History of Hannibal, NY” by town and village historian and former Mayor Lowell Newvine.

Tuesday, the city approved a deal with the city of Oswego to let each city’s board review assessment appeals from members of the other city’s board. Oswego lawmakers had already approved the agreement.
