The Oswego Festival Of Sail will take place June 25, 26 & 27. The public can tour and take a 90-minute cruise on the ships. Several other activities, for people of all ages, are being planned – at the waterfront and downtown.
More than 550 people turned out Saturday for the annual Oswego County Autism Task Force’s “Walk for Autism.” The group seeks to provide information that enhances the lives of those touched by Autism Spectrum Disorders in the community. The event featured children’s activities, entertainment, light refreshments, autism information, and an organized 1, 2, or 3-mile walk.
A former Fulton athlete got the sporting thrill of a lifetime recently when he was pulled out of the crowd to carry the clubs of a pro golfer.
And not just any golfer.
Tom Buchholz caddied three holes at the Shell Houston Open for Phil Mickelson, who won golf’s most important event, the Masters, right after that.
It was not a random event.
