A 7th grader holds her cell phone camera at arm’s length. She strikes a provocative pose. She clicks the shutter button. Moments later, that photo is on its way to her 7th grade boyfriend.
Cell phones make it easy to take and send such photos. They also make it easy to forward those photos to hundreds of other people.
Barclay announced his decision Sunday night, saying that his conscience would not let him run. He said that he had two choices, both poor ones, if he decided to run. He would either have to miss work in the state Legislature to make the run, or give up his seat and saddle taxpayers with the cost of a special election.
Lei Deng, 26, was last seen at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 12 at Hart Hall on campus.
Police believe he may be in New York City but has not been seen or heard from since 10:30 p.m. Thursday night.
