The Hannibal Board of Education has slated a special meeting for this evening to start to discuss its next steps in the 2008-09 budget process. District voters rejected the $25.1 million proposed budget May 20.
Standing in the same room where he once served as president of the Fulton Common Council, Kenneth Myers stood quietly Tuesday morning as he listened to the details of a plea agreement that was worked out to satisfy charges that were brought against him in January. Myers pleaded guilty to attempted obstruction of governmental administration. His sentencing is slated for Aug. 4.
