The U.S. Small Business Administration is offering low-interest federal disaster loans for working capital to New York small businesses suffering substantial economic injury as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), SBA Administrator Jovita Carranza announced March 20.

NY: Kinney Drugs is hiring multiple full- and part-time across the company, including: Pharmacy clerks, retail cashiers, and delivery drivers (no experience necessary). Pharmacy technicians and retail supervisors (some higher education and/or experience preferred). Nationally certified pharmacy technicians (credentials required; some experience preferred)

Currently, we are open, at our normal business hours. Starting Monday, March 23 our hours will change to 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Oswego County Human Resources Department is exercising preventative measures in the interest of preventing the spread of the coronavirus and protecting the health and well-being of the public. Until further notice, people are asked to call and request an appointment for in-person services.

The Oswego County Department of Social Services continues to run essential operations. Appointments for assistance programs such as cash assistance, HEAP, SNAP and Medicaid are being handled over the phone.
