The missing child has been located safe and unharmed. He was located in the area of West First Street near Ohio Street. He was evaluated by EMS and returned home.

AFSCME Local 1785 has unanimously endorsed Billy Barlow in his re-election campaign for mayor of Oswego. AFSMCE Local 1785 serves the city of Oswego’s two wastewater facilities and is the first City union to endorse the mayor’s re-election efforts.

Starting our 11th year of artwork, the mural project is actively seeking interested youth artists who would like to create a piece of artwork and paint it in a public space in the city of Oswego. Participation in Free Meals Program Shows Success in FCSD
The Fulton City School District began a new endeavor in the 2018-2019 school year by participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) offering free breakfast and lunch to all students districtwide. In five months worth of data in the 2018-2019 school year compared to the same months in the 2017-2018 school year, participation in school meals has increased by more than 50,000 lunches served and more than 42,000 breakfasts served districtwide.

Mayor Barlow Announces $25,000 Grant For Southern Fare Restaurant
Mayor Billy Barlow announced today (March 12) a $25,000 grant for Southern Fare, a new restaurant coming to downtown Oswego. Local developer Atom Avery plans to demolish the existing Global Buffet building, replacing it with a five-story building consisting of first floor commercial space with residential space on the upper floors including a rooftop bar and terrace.

Oswego County To Participate In Statewide STOP-DWI St. Patrick’s Day Crackdown Enforcement Effort
Oswego County STOP-DWI Coordinator Robert Lighthall announced today (March 12) that Oswego County police agencies will participate in a special enforcement effort to crackdown on impaired driving. The statewide STOP-DWI Crackdown efforts start on March 15 and will end on March 18.
