Rosewood Heights PJ Drive
For the past six years I have volunteered every Sunday at Rosewood Heights Nursing Home in Syracuse until I left for college this past August. While volunteering the 250 residents have become my second family.

May we always remember our veterans and show our deep appreciation throughout the year.
0swego County Opportunities and its Literacy Volunteers program would like to thank all of the generous sponsors and donors for making this year’s sixth annual Diane Falise Scrabble Fest event possible.
I truly look forward to seeing a change in the County Clerks office after a downward spiral in recent years that has seen records and work farmed out to a questionable (and expensive) vendor (IQS) in another county, as well as the remaining unionized workers suffering daily abuse.
I have worked hard to not only speak with voters about the campaign, but also the office as it currently exists. My opponent and I had the opportunity to first trade views last week during an interview with a local reporter. I think he and I came to largely agree on several issues especially with regard to the need for transparency in the office.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Phil Vasho for taking the time to reach out to several long term employees of the Oswego County Clerk’s Office.
As many of you may know, the Oswego County Clerk’s office has been the center of controversy for the past several years. I decided to run for the office because I believe, like many of you, that enough is enough. There are some fundamental differences between myself and my opponent.
During this campaign, I have been faulted for failing to accept large monetary donations from corporations, lobbying groups and the state Democrat Party. This was my decision and one I stand by. My intention is not, and never has been, to be beholden to special interests or party politics. I am a firm believer that it is the civic duty of each government official to represent those they were elected to serve.
This past weekend the Oswego State Men’s ACHA D1 hockey team hosted its first Pink the Rink weekend as a benefit for the Upstate Cancer Center in Syracuse. We are proud to announce that we raised a total of $1,200 for the Cancer Center through admissions, jersey raffles and Chuck- A-Puck contests.
The A-P-W Dollars for Scholars would like to send out a thank you for your support in making our Fall Festival and chicken barbecue a big success. We would like to take this opportunity to give recognition to the many contributors that made this event possible.
