I am running because I care about children. I will make sure that the decisions made in Family Court are fair and impartial, and, most importantly, in our children’s best interests. I have spent more than a decade representing children and families in Family Court, and I am the only candidate who can serve the full ten-year term.
The upcoming election for Family Court Judge for Oswego County is so important for our community. We are fortunate to have a highly qualified candidate in Lou Anne Rucynski Coleman running for the position.
The fall is a busy season for the Boosters. Football and soccer keep the Booster Club pretty busy, and resources can run thin. Having the assist from the Lions Club allows us to provide better service to the community, our school and our athletes. The Lions Club is a great asset to the Fulton community and to the Boosters Club.
Family court needs a person who cares about our children and families, a person who is dedicated to hard work, a person who gets the facts and a person who can make the tough decisions in a fair manor.
On behalf of the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce we extend a sincere thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s CNY Great Pumpkin Festival one of the best ever.
Without the United Way, the PTSA and the business and individual donations, the required supplies would not be available. And without the dedicated and hardworking members of the APW staff and the local community, the event could not happen.
Bev Wilcox, a friend of ours and certainly a friend to many others, recently passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Bev worked as a greeter at the Granby Wal-Mart so it seems fitting that as people walked through the front door, they observed a small table upon which a vase with flowers and her name tag ~ BEV ~ was placed at the spot where she would have stood.
Thank you to all who participated recently in collecting donations for the United Friends of Homeless Animals. We will be collecting donations all summer until school starts in September. People can bring in donations to the Pulaski Public Library.
The recent announcement by Mayor Woodward and the city of Fulton Common Council of the upcoming retirement of our City Clerk/Chamberlain Jim LaBoda and his replacement by the current DPW Water and Sanitation Commissioner Dan O’Brien has prompted me to review some of the many adjustments that have been made over the last few years to our city workforce that were necessary through operating cutbacks by attrition and the operating flexibility of some of our departments.
I’m pleased to report to you that our initial weekend fundraiser/T-shirt sale at the Midway and Harborfest was a fantastic success. The support from the community was amazing and my girls from Troop 10101- so dedicated – so professional, exceeded their goal for T-shirt/bracelet sales by selling out of product on Saturday (1,300 T-shirts and 1,000 bracelets) and then resorting to taking orders for additional shirts on Sunday.
