A week after the announcement of Oswego Speedway’s 2016 yearlong and 60th annual International Classic Weekend ticket packages, Speedway officials are happy to announce two separate fan appreciation savings specials in this year’s weekly pricing at the ‘Steel Palace.’

The Oswego State women’s ice hockey was handed its second straight loss from Buffalo State this weekend, falling 2-0 Saturday afternoon at the Buffalo State Ice Arena. With the loss the Lakers move to 9-7-3 overall and 5-6-3 in the ECAC West.

The Oswego State men’s basketball team opened on a 13-0 run and never trailed on its way to a 80-72 win over Oneonta on Saturday afternoon in Max Ziel Gymnasium. Oswego’s victory improves its overall record to 12-5 but, most importantly, pushes its SUNYAC record to .500 (5-5) after starting 1-4.

The Oswego State women’s basketball team fell 81-44 to visiting Oneonta on Saturday afternoon in Max Ziel Gymnasium. Oswego’s loss drops its record to 3-14 overall with a 1-9 mark in SUNYAC competition.

The Oswego State men’s basketball team pulled away from visiting New Paltz midway through the first half en route to a 75-59 victory on Friday night in Max Ziel Gymnasium. Oswego improves to 11-5 overall with the win and 4-5 in conference play.

The Oswego State women’s basketball battled throughout a 64-48 loss to New Paltz at home on Friday night in Max Ziel Gymnasium. With the loss, Oswego drops to 3-13 overall and 1-8 in SUNYAC action.

The Oswego State women’s ice hockey team allowed two third period goals which led to a 3-1 loss at Buffalo State on Friday afternoon. With the conference defeat, Oswego goes to 9-6-3 overall and 5-5-3 in the ECAC Women’s West.
