Larry Wight and Dave Marcuccilli were the big winners Saturday night at the Fulton Speedway picking up wins in the Tracey Road Equipment Modifieds and the FX Caprara Car Companies Upstate Sportsman Alliance.

Effective during the 2016 season at Oswego Speedway, independent front suspension will be reinstated in the Novelis Supermodified division. Since 2008, Oswego Speedway’s rulebook has stated that independent front suspension is not permitted, and that a front axle must be utilized in all Novelis Supermodifieds.
Serving as an extra thread of excitement for the upcoming $5 admission, 65th Anniversary Special at Oswego Speedway on August 8, the night’s action will be covered for national airing on MAVTV and Suzuki presents Speed Sport.
Oswego Supermodified and NEMA Midget veteran Jeff Abold will contend this Saturday in the inaugural Tony Stewart Midget Classic at the Indianapolis Speedrome. Featuring Midget racing since 1941, the Indianapolis Speedrome has played host to some of the greatest open-wheel drivers in history including Mel Kenyon, Rich Vogler, Tom Bigelow, Bob Cicconi, Bryan Clauson, Kenny Irwin Jr., Larry Rice, and Stewart himself.
As the countdown begins toward Budweiser International Classic Week at Oswego Speedway, the month of August at the ‘Steel Palace’ will provide four consecutive weeks of fast paced entertainment. The month kicks off on August 1 with the 29th annual $10,000 to win Mr. Novelis Supermodified title event, won last season by 2015 Summer Champion, Dave Danzer.
Some of the best Sportsman talent in Upstate New York will not only be battling for 30 laps and the $1,000 winner’s share but will also be looking to grab an important guaranteed starting spot for the lucrative Industrial Tire Of CNY Sportsman Shootout 50 during the 30th Annual Outlaw 200 Weekend October 2-3 at the Fulton Speedway.
In a night full of features, there were first time winners, late race passes for the win, and exciting racing throughout the night sponsored by Sunoco Fulton Ethanol Facility. The big winners on the night were, Billy Decker (Tracey Road Equipment Modifieds) Tony Finch II (SUNY Canton Sportsman) Sean Beardsley, Chris Fleming (NAPA Late Models) Amy Holland took two wins plus Dorian Wahdan, Nick Cinquanti (E&V Energy Novice Sportsman) Jim Money two wins (Hilton’s Automotive Four-Cylinders).
