With 19 days remaining until the International Classic, the countdown continues with No. 19, looking back on Warren Coniam’s first International Classic win after Kempton Dates ran out of fuel. By 1977 Dates had matured into one of Oswego’s top pilots, having won the ’77 track championship, and appearing to be well on his way to an International Classic win in the late stages of the ’77 200.

With only one event remaining before Budweiser International Classic Weekend, the Pathfinder Bank Small Block Supers will be featured on Saturday with Twin 20 feature events presented by Oswego County Federal Credit Union and Bosco & Geers Food Market. Despite the division’s inception in 1992, Twin 20 features were not run for the Small Block Supers until 2005. That year it was veteran SBS competitors Dave Gruel and Mike Bond driving to victory lane.

With 20 days remaining until the International Classic, the countdown continues with No. 20, as Eddie Bellinger Jr. made a pit stop on his way to winning the 1993 International Classic. Bellinger was now driving the Graves Chassis house car in 1993, recently vacated by Mike Ordway, and was immediately a front runner. The question was though come Classic time, if Bellinger would attempt to pit for a tire as Ordway had tried in 1992?
