The first of several Oswego Speedway race team fundraisers is set, as Strong Racing announced plans for their FUNdraiser to be held on February 15 at Lighthouse Lanes in Oswego.
The Oswego State men’s basketball team dropped to .500 (5-5) in SUNYAC play with an 81-73 loss at Geneseo on Tuesday night. Overall, the Lakers are now 11-6 while the Knights improve to 14-2 on the season and 8-1 in conference play.

The nation’s largest all indoor motorsports event will take place February 15-16 at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania’s, Farm Show Complex, featuring two days of intense wheel-to-wheel kart racing with a collection of drivers from Oswego Kartway looking to make the trek south down I-81.

With the loss, Oswego falls to 12-4-1 on the year and 5-3-1 in SUNYAC play. The Bengals were outshot by the Lakers 33-22 while Oswego also edged Buffalo State in face-offs (33-31).
The Oswego State women’s ice hockey team took nationally-ranked Elmira College to the brink on Saturday afternoon, eventually falling 2-1 in overtime to the Soaring Eagles. Oswego’s loss sets the team record back to 10-6-1 overall and 6-3-1 in the ECAC West while Elmira improves to 13-3-1, 8-0-0.
