Bowling made its return to Oswego High this year and on Tuesday the boys’ team captured the Central New York Counties League American Division crown. The Bucs faced off against Auburn, as the two were vying for the title, and swept all three highly competitive games.
Oswego State men’s ice hockey player Jon Whitelaw (Fr., Huntsville, Ont.) has been named the SUNY Athletic Conference Men’s Hockey Rookie of the Week for the week ending January 25, 2010. The No. 1-ranked Lakers remained undefeated in conference play at 10-0-0 and moved to 18-1-0 overall on the season after posting wins over Buffalo State and Fredonia.
