Half-Shire Historical Society News – November 14, 2014
On Saturday, November 15, Half-Shire will mark our 42nd anniversary. We will be open throughout the day, with hot coffee and snacks as well are research. At 5 p.m., the Pulaski Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce will partner with us for a cocktail party/mixer to celebrate our anniversary, as well as recognize the success of the Pulaski Farmers’ Market 2014 season. The public is welcome!

Newcomer Leads Incumbent In Oswego’s Second Ward Race
Political newcomer Pat McLaughlin (Dem – WTR) is looking to unseat incumbent Mike Myers (Rep -Con – Ind) in the race for Oswego’s Second Ward council seat. Unofficial vote totals tonight (Nov. 4) show McLaughlin in the lead, 50.97% to to 48.86%. The candidates are separated by a dozen votes currently. Also: It looks like James Eby has won the race for Oswego County Family Court Judge.
