
OSWEGO, NY – Members of the Oswego County Legislature Human Services Committee presented staff members from Oswego County Opportunities Services to Aid Families program with a proclamation recognizing October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Oswego County.
In 2016 SAF, the domestic violence and rape crisis program serving Oswego County, served almost 550 victims and survivors and answered more than 2,300 calls on its Crisis Hotline.
Representatives from SUNY Oswego, law enforcement, and the Domestic Violence Coalition of Oswego County also attended the proclamation to show their support.
