OSWEGO – The Friends of the Oswego Public Library and the Oswego Bookmobile announce their annual Pancake Breakfast fundraiser on Sunday, April 28 from 8 a.m. until noon at the Elks Club, 132 West Fifth Street. Tickets are on sale now at the library, or from any member of the board of the Friends or the Bookmobile. Donation for ages eight and under is $7 per person and for age nine and up, $12 per person.
In addition to a full breakfast, a variety of prizes and themed baskets will be raffled. First prize is a handmade quilt donated by the First United Methodist Quilters. Second prize is a $100 Lottery Board. Third prize is an assortment of local Oswego business gift cards, including from River’s End Bookstore, Riverside Artisans, Chelle’s Bakery, Sherry’s Diner, and a $20 gift card donated by Price Chopper. Fourth prize is an Italian dinner basket including a $50 gift card donated by Bosco’s Meats, a $25 gift card donated by Paul’s Big M, wine, pasta, sauce, a pasta timer, and Italian cookbooks. Raffle tickets are one for $3, 2 for $5 or 5 for $10 and are now on sale as well at the library, from board members of the Friends or the Bookmobile and at the River’s End Bookstore and the Quilt with Passion quilt shop.
Proceeds benefit the programs of the library and the Bookmobile.
