FULTON, NY – Friends of History in Fulton, Inc. is holding its annual theme party on Friday, November 3 at Tavern on the Lock to “Remember Woodstock.”

Last year’s party brought Elvis out to rock. This year’s party coordinators, Ed and Carole Farfaglia of the Friends of History Board of Directors said moving into a Woodstock theme was a natural progression.

The party will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a cash bar at Tavern on the Lock located at 24 South First Street.

A full buffet dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. Guests can expect to see such courses as chicken ala king and biscuits, ham and potatoes, salads, and even a special themed brownie dessert.

Entertainment will begin at 8 p.m. featuring Mike MacDonald playing folk rock, music from the 60’s and 70’s time period.

“Mike is great, he has a Neil Young specialty but he has been working on a lot of original Woodstock songs from the 1969 festival,” Ed Farfaglia said.

Guests are encouraged to brush up on their music trivia for a contest, and welcome to participate in raffles throughout the evening.

Seats are filling up, so Friends of History officials suggest stopping by The Pratt House at 177 South First Street or calling 315-598-4616 for advanced sale tickets. Any remaining seats will be available for purchase at the door.

  1. Woodstock in Fulton?
I remember that we had to hitchhike down to Bethel with no tickets. After a few days of rain, our garb was considerably less colorful.
    Peace & Love!

  2. My mother wouldn’t let me go… lol But I did go to Watkins Glen, which was kind of a disaster…
