OSWEGO – The City of Oswego is moving forward with the 2026 Paving Project, aimed at improving roadway conditions and enhancing travel throughout the community. Milling operations are tentatively scheduled to begin the 4th week in May. Paving will commence the following week after the milling work is completed.
City officials emphasize that this schedule is weather dependent and may be adjusted if conditions require. A map highlighting the areas to be paved this year is included, with all 2026 paving locations noted in purple for easy identification.
“We’re excited to announce that paving will occur in two phases this year,” said Mayor Robert A. Corradino. “The first phase will commence the 4th week of May, and a second phase will begin in the summer. Maintaining and improving our infrastructure remains a top priority for the City of Oswego, and we are proud to continue investing in our roads through the 2026 paving program. We thank our residents and motorists for their continued patience and cooperation during this important work. We ask everyone to use caution when traveling through work zones, allow for extra travel time, and follow all posted signage for your safety and the safety of the crews, completing these vital improvements. Together, we are building a stronger and safer community for all.”
