FULTON – May 2, 2026, Elizabeth L. (Thomas) Gula, 60, of Fulton, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at home surrounded by her family.
Born in Syracuse, to Robert and Cheryl (Bloeser) Thomas. Beth was a 1984 graduate of Baldwinsville High School. She then completed her degrees at Onondaga Community College and SUNY Upstate. Beth worked as a Respiratory Therapist for A. L. Lee Memorial Hospital until they closed. She loved country music, visiting Cape Cod, and gardening. Beth was an avid SU sports and NY Giants fan. She also enjoyed attending concerts and going to the beach. Beth was predeceased by her grandparents, June and John Bloeser and Hazel and Larry Thomas; and her very best friend, Jackie Izzo.
Surviving are her husband, Jody Gula; two children, Jax Cobb and Phillip (Stephanie O’Brien) Cobb; step-grandchildren, Avery, and Leighton; her parents, Robert and Cheryl Thomas; sister, Karin (Trey) Hellwig; niece, Megan (AJ) Bellardini; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and her two beloved dogs, Sam and Toby.
Calling hours will be from 9-11 am on Thursday, May 7 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 12 pm at Epiphany Parish, 1001 Tulip St. Liverpool, NY 13088. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oswego County Animal Shelter https://www.oswegocountyspca.org/, Erin’s Angels https://erinsangels.com/[1], or Saint Agatha Foundation https://www.saintagathafoundation.org/[2] in Beth’s memory.
