  6. I first met Vince when he came into our shop on Oneida Street in1977 telling me I didn’t have a pair of shoes that would fit him. I found a pair and in addition to being a customer, he became a friend. I cut my thumb working on a pair of his shoes and still have the scar. Vince would come into the shop about once a month, sit down an talk to me about people, politics and life in general. Every once in a while, he’d show up at one of my outdoor gigs. He will be missed by all who knew him.
