Patrick Alan Butler Jr. was born in Oswego Hospital on July 24, 2016, at 3:14 a.m.
William Palange retired from the Oswego City School District in 2010, completing a career spanning nearly 35 years as a music educator. Palange was inducted in the New York State Field Band Conference Hall of Fame this past Sunday (Nov. 1) at the NYSFBC Championships. The Marching Buccaneers placed fourth in their division.
The 29th annual ALANA Student Leadership Conference at SUNY Oswego, a weeklong multicultural celebration starting Sept. 19, will feature the ever-popular fashion show, a high-energy motivational speaker, leadership workshops, a gala banquet and a concluding performance by the Williamsburg Salsa Orchestra. With a theme this year of “Empowerment for the Future,” ALANA annually encourages student leadership, multicultural learning and an atmosphere of mutual understanding at SUNY Oswego.
The appellate Court held that, as a matter of law, the evidence before the jury was legally insufficient to establish that Jones acted with the mental State of depraved indifference at the time he caused Erin Maxwell’s death. He is, however, guilty of second-degree manslaughter and will be returned to county court to be re-sentenced on that charge – maximum sentence of 5 to 15 years in state prison.

For Johnson it was his 58th career win at the D-Shaped Dirt Demon.
