OSWEGO – Waldo is a 10-month-old tuxedo gentleman with a soft heart, gentle soul, and the sweetest little journey of growing confidence. While he can still be timid in new situations, Waldo is slowly but surely coming out of his shell more each day.
Recently, he’s started becoming more social and has even begun hesitantly playing with the other kitties around him. Watching Waldo discover that it’s safe to relax, explore, and join in all the fun is incredibly rewarding. He’s the kind of cat who blossoms quietly, one small brave moment at a time.
This sweet boy is looking for someone patient and kind who understands that trust takes time. Once he feels safe, Waldo forms deep bonds and shows his affection in soft, meaningful ways. Waldo is still unsure about being picked up, as it can feel scary to him, but he continues making progress and learning that human touch can be comforting. With patience and gentle encouragement, he keeps building confidence.
He does well with other cats and may benefit from a calm feline friend to help show him the ropes. Loud noises, fast-paced environments, and dogs are still overwhelming for him, so he would do best in a quieter home where he can continue to thrive at his own pace.
Waldo isn’t the kind of cat who bursts into a room demanding attention. He’s the kind who slowly learns to trust you… and then loves you with his whole heart.
Waldo is neutered and vaccinated. He is indoor only and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. The adoption fee is $125. If you’re looking for a gentle companion to nurture and grow alongside, Waldo may be your perfect match.
