Oswego River/Lake Ontario report:
According to Larry Muroski of Larry’s Oswego Salmon Shop:
The water flow has been running between 1500-3,000cfs but it is down to 845cfs as of this afternoon. Fishing remains about the same along the river. Bass can be found from Oswego to Phoenix. There is a light run of Skamania steelhead and a group of what appeared to be rainbows were seen behind the shop today. Anglers continue to find rockbass, white perch, catfish and carp. Minnows, worms, and crayfish have been getting the job done.
Lake Ontario report:
The wind is expected to die down for the weekend and anglers are anxious to hit the water. The lake fishing is excellent. Look in 100-350 feet of water for salmon, fishing down 90-120 feet from the surface. Brown trout can be found in 20-60 feet of water near Nine Mile Point with the morning bite the best. Flies, spoons and cut bait are suggested baits.
Pulaski Area/ Salmon River report:

When the wind is not a factor – and it has been this week – the fishing has been fantastic. Salmon are very active in 120-150 feet of water down 70-90 from the surface. The same bait applications, fly/flasher combinations, cut bait and spoons, are working well. Look for a good brown trout bite over by the high rocks. As the wind calms and the lake settles we are looking for a good bass bite in the shallow water.
Oneida Lake report:
Oneida Lake is offering some very good walleye fishing with limit catches being reported. Look in 10-25 feet of water. Anglers are finding some smallmouth bass and a few northern pike in the mix. Suggested baits are spinners, worms, and bucktail jigs tipped with a fathead minnow.
Sandy Pond report:

The pond is becoming heavily weeded but the fishing has been good. Anglers are finding a largemouth bass bite along with northern pike. Best time of day is early morning or toward evening. A variety of bait is working well including minnows, Rapalas, spinner baits and jigs.
