Fulton Rotary Adds 20 Members to ARC Oswego Chapter
The 20 additional memberships will give Oswego County a greater voice in deciding public policy, related to people with disabilities, on the state and national levels; and the $100 in membership fees will help support ARC of Oswego County’s many programs for infants, children, adults, and senior citizens with disabilities.
ARC of Oswego County Hosts Family Education Night This Thursday
Roxanne Euson, the former Director of Parkside Children’s Services and a Special Projects Teacher with ARC of Oswego County, will speak on power struggles and separation anxiety with special children. A parent panel will also offer a chance for families to share experiences and ask questions.

The evening, offered Wednesday, October 7, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at ARC of Oswego’s Fun Rock Café, will feature presenters from at least ten different agencies that offer programs and services. Parents can learn about available recreation and respite programs, athletic opportunities, guardianship assistance, residential habilitation, advocacy groups, and more.
County Legislature Recognizes Direct Support Professionals
Oswego County Legislature Chairman Barry Leemann presented a certificate to ARC of Oswego County and Oswego Industries, Inc. designating the week of September 14, 2009 as Direct Support Professionals Recognition Week.
