Local Students Recognized For Community Service Efforts
Students at Pulaski’s Make Sense Shop recently received medals for all their hard work during community service efforts earlier this year.

A new boxing club in the Port City teaches youngsters the basics of the sport – but also stresses the importance of a good education. Focusing on leadership and responsibility, the organizer hopes to curb some of the city’s troubles with youth.
Sigma Tau Chi was cited Tuesday night by the mayor for their history of community service. The fraternity has conducted several community projects, including mentoring high school students for their SATs. They have a dinner planned for Saturday to raise funds and awareness.
Members of SUNY Oswego’s Student-Athlete Advisory Council are ready to rake leaves Sunday, Nov. 9. But they need to hear from senior citizens in Oswego who would like this free help.
