The Fulton Family YMCA is encouraging local community kids, who are in grades K – 12, to take part in joining some of the Syracuse University basketball players, for an “instructional clinic†which they promise will be a fun-filled.  The clinic is set for Saturday, August 8, 2009 at the Fulton Family YMCA.

New Kids Fun Run Event To Take Place Before The Fulton YMCA’s Loop Around The Lake 15k/5k Run And 5k Walk
New this year! A Kids’ fun run is being offered during Loop around the Lake for all children ages 4-12. The fun run is a ¼ and 1 mile run, which will start promptly at 8:00 am behind the Fulton War Memorial. All kids are number one in our book, so each one will receive a race number, finisher ribbon and goody bag for participating. The first 50 kids to enter will receive a commemorative race t-shirt. All are encouraged to stick around afterwards for some light refreshments and a little entertainment by the Twin Magicians.

Fulton Library Passes Halfway Point In Drive To Renovate
The Fulton Public Library is busier than ever and is on the verge of substantial improvements to its aging home.
The library is more than halfway to its goal of raising $204,500 to build its first-ever elevator for the four-story building. The money will also begin the job of fixing up the bottom floor of the library, a place that’s been off-limits for the public for decades.
