Fulton CDA Receives Housing Counseling Grant
The Fulton Community Development Agency has secured $40,000 in grant funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The agency is one of nearly 400 national, state and local agencies that has received a housing counseling grant this year.

The Fulton YMCA will offer the first only marathon and ½ marathon events in Oswego County on Sunday, October 12, 2008. The Century Marathon and Half Marathon will take place at as well as start at, Bull Head Point, with a start time of 7:00 am, in honor of a local runner, Ruth Ripley.

Danny Does It Again! Johnson Wins 23rd Annual Schneider Brothers 200
In one of the most competitive and wild finishes of the 23 year history of the Schneider Brothers 200 Danny Johnson out of Phelps, NY wheeled the Byea Headers, Metropolitan Signs, No.121 Troyer to the $25,000 victory. Johnson who started 24th had to hold off late race restarts and challenges from Dave Camara and Brett Hearn to earn his third Schneider Brothers 200 win.

The Gater Racing News/Motorsports Expo 30 needed an extra day to complete but it was well worth the wait for go-cart graduate Jeremy wilder as the Fort Plain, New York driver went on to capture his first Hoosier Tire Mr. DIRTcar Championship Series victory Saturday to close out the Modified Sportsman portion of the 23rd Schneider Bros. Weekend at Fulton Speedway.
