H1N1 Flu Shot Appointments By Phone Begin Today

If you want one of the first shots available of vaccine for the H1N1 flu virus, today’s the day to make a phone call.  The county will open a hotline at 4:00 p.m. Monday afternoon and will make appointments for a shot until 7:00 p.m. or until all appointments are gone.  Call 349-8700. Oswego County Flu Clinics Begin on September 21

The Oswego County Health Department will hold its first seasonal flu clinic on Monday, September 21, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Nick Sterio Public Health Clinic on Bunner Street in Oswego. The next flu clinics are scheduled for Wednesday, September 30 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the H. Douglas Barclay Courthouse on Bridge Street in Pulaski; and from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Nick Sterio Public Health Clinic on Bunner Street in Oswego.

Hannibal’s H1N1 Plans: Wash Hands, Stay Home, Stay Separate

If nothing else, Hannibal school students should have cleaner hands this year.

Regular hand washing is a key component of the district’s plan to try to keep down the spread of the H1N1 virus.  District officials discussed the plan Wednesday night at a public meeting attended by fewer than a dozen people.
