They have raised the bar at Oswego High School. And, for the most part, students have risen to the occasion – academically as well as socially, the building’s principal said Tuesday night.
Principal Bonnie R. Finnerty told the Oswego Sunrise Rotary about her three years at Oswego Middle School. Many great things have been accomplished during her tenure.
It was a bit breezy and chilly outside for opening day of the 2010 – 11 school year. Inside the schools it was warm and welcoming, despite the continuous hustle and bustle of workers finishing off renovation work.
Superintendent introduces interim principal for the summer and fall. A new principal is expected to be in place by mid-October. The house system has been revamped, and students will be greeted by some new policies such as one prohibiting the use of electronic devices.
Hannibal Central School District is losing another administrator. This week, the Hannibal Board of Education accepted the resignation of Danielle Mahoney, principal at Hannibal High School. According to Superintendent Michael DiFabio, Mahoney’s resignation is effective June 30.
After a year of administrative shuffling in the Hannibal Central School District, next week will start with a new top official at Kenney Middle School.
