Michele Reed, president of the Professional Journalists and Communicators of Oswego County, has announced that Christina Dehm is the recipient of the PJC’s annual Muriel Allerton Scholarship Award.
Kingford Park Home and School Inc. awarded two scholarships in the amount of $500 each to KPS alumni Colin Morgan and Christopher Pike. This is the second year that KPS Home and School has awarded scholarship dollars to students who attended grades K – 6 at the elementary school.
The Sandy Harrison Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to an Oswego High School senior for outstanding scholastic achievement and student involvement in the school community.
The winner of the annual “Cow Chip Bingo†said she will use the winnings to purchase some new clothes for her new job. The proceeds from the event will be used to support an annual scholarship in the memory of Harold “H†Dowd, a Fulton Lions Club member who passed away in September 2005.
